It has been awhile since I blogged and I still suck at typing. When I get on this site it still reminds me of Pops- which is a good thing.
What has been going on?
KA is busy at work and at working out. She is a "Maniac in Leg Warmers" as she does spin 3 times a week and also loves Yoga. The boys soccer has put a cramp into her Yoga due to games as of late but she is a die hard and an awesome woman and wife. She stays busy with her work at the NICU, working with the preemie infants, and she is good at it. I am so proud of her. She is one bad mother!!! And I mean that in a good way with Mothers Day coming this Sunday.
Me? Nothing.....Just kidding. I am coaching Noah in baseball and we are the Astros. We started 3-1 and are now 4-3...but i've figured it out and we should do pretty well in our 16 game schedule. They keep changing the rules and we've gotten screwed in 2 games. I know it's all about the kids getting better and developing but I am way too competitive and want to win. The 3 games we lost were all by one run and both the other coaches are cocky jerks. That is what stinks- all the other coaches are nice and I like em. Maybe they think i'm a tool and hate losing to me. Oh well. Trying to get back into running after a plantar fascia tear and also getting ready to go hunt Turkeys. Yippee!
Zane is all into soccer and doing well, even though his team is not. They have a talent pool on their team equivalent to a gene pool in Colorado City in Arizona. For those that do not know we live 11 miles from the biggest polygamy community in the U.S. and there are lots of genetic "misappropriations" that go on there. He is 5'9" and growing and an awesome guy. He also is about a year from getting his Eagle Scout. He really wants it and enjoys the program. People say he looks a lot like me at that age... other than that things are going well for him.
Noah is busy all the time with sports. He is a junkie and I coach him in basketball, football and baseball. He is my primary catcher and does a great job. He is not afraid of the ball and mixes it up. He also pitches, which he wasn't keen on, but I told him...."you have to, because your an athlete and can, other kids that want to just can't do it". He pitched pretty well last game and will get at least 40 pitches when we play tomorrow.
Tatum is so cute. She doesn't do sports but excels in being my little girl and being beautiful. She does well in school and will grow into her own person. We are going on a father/ daughter Hannah Montana date soon. Dinner and a movie with my little Beauty Queen. It will be fun and the movie probably dreadful....but enjoyable with my date.
I will add pictures and get this going like a full blog in time.
